You pack for South Carolina

You are on your way to South Carolina

You return home with a heavy heart and a ruined appetite. You can’t sleep. Tomorrow morning you will drive to South Carolina, singing and bronzing your left arm all the way.

Eager to see Emily, you pack as hastily as possible. You print a check sheet of mysterious items that she asks you to bring and make sure to pack those: a copy of HEARTWORMS, your passport, short-sleeved shirts. Of course, you cannot make sense of this list, but you oblige.

You wake up and hit the road, before sundown you will be with the love of your life, and you’ll probably also have dinner.

To be continued…
